Avengers: Doomsday Poster Puts the Latverian Witches in the Spotlight
Marvel's new Avengers: Doomsday poster spotlights the three Latverian Witches, while separate promo art gives a first look at Doombots and Doomstadt Tower.

Marvel Studios has released a new Avengers: Doomsday poster, and this one belongs to the three Latverian Witches. Bleeding Cool reports that the poster was shared in honor of Spooky Season, a fitting moment for a trio of witches.

The Avengers: Doomsday Poster Brings Out the Latverian Witches
According to Bleeding Cool, the new poster spotlights the three witches, whose costumes were first shown at San Diego Comic-Con. The Spooky Season timing is the only reason the report gives for the release.
The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito and Jonathan Schwartz. Its cast list includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Pedro Pascal, along with many others.
As of October 4, 2026, Bleeding Cool described the film as a little under three months from release, with a December opening. The report does not name an exact day. It also says pre-sale numbers are very strong, writing that "the pre-sale numbers are insane," though it offers no figures.
Separate Promo Art Shows Doombots, Doomstadt Tower and Lord Doom
The second batch of art comes from ComicBookMovie.com, which covers a first look at Doctor Doom's Doombots, Doomstadt Tower and the Lord Doom costume. Here is what the site says each piece shows:
Doombots: They are clad entirely in green, armor included. ComicBookMovie.com says they look easy to tell apart from Doom and seemingly won't be used as his stand-ins, as often happens in the comics, though it does not rule that out.
Doomstadt Tower: It fits the aesthetic of the 1960s-inspired The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The site wonders whether it will replace Castle Doomstadt in the MCU and says it seems to be an important location.
Deadpool: The art includes a glimpse of a cartoon Deadpool, which ComicBookMovie.com says seems to confirm that Deadpool will return in the film.
Spoiler warning: The next paragraph describes Doom's costume changes over the course of the film in general terms.
Lord Doom appears to be a third version of Victor Von Doom. It follows the costume he wears when he first works with the Avengers and another revealed when his true nature emerges. The look is almost ceremonial, so ComicBookMovie.com suggests it may come from a flashback to before his villainy. The art does not make clear whether that is the case or whether it could be his final look.
Important Note: Bleeding Cool's report on the witches poster does not mention the second batch of art. It is not clear whether the two come from the same release, so they are treated here as separate reveals.
A Doom-Heavy Campaign Raises Some Eyebrows
Bleeding Cool's writer says the campaign's focus on Doom feels more like DC than Marvel. The writer calls it a departure for a studio that has been hero focused, and speculates that Robert Downey Jr.'s involvement plays a big role.
That is commentary, not confirmed fact, and the reports do not say how the marketing was planned. Still, a villain-first push with witches, Doombots and a tower of his own makes the point on its own.
Open Questions Before the December Release
The reports leave a few threads loose. They give no exact release day beyond December, and ComicBookMovie.com says it is unknown whether Doomstadt Tower will replace Castle Doomstadt in the MCU.
Whether Lord Doom is a flashback outfit or something else is also unsettled. For now, the poster and promo art are teases, and the film itself will have to supply the answers.
