Mayor of Kingstown Lands

Netflix subscribers looking for a new crime series to settle into have a fresh option. As of October 5, 2026, all four seasons of Mayor of Kingstown are available to stream on Netflix, according to SlashFilm.

The timing matters. A fifth and final season is on the way, though the report gives no date beyond "some time in the near future."

All Four Seasons of Mayor of Kingstown Arrive on Netflix

The full run is there from the first episode, so newcomers can start at the beginning and catch up before the last chapter. SlashFilm's report frames the Netflix arrival as the lead-in to that final season.

The show did not begin on Netflix. It was sold to Paramount, which debuted the first season on Paramount+ in November 2021.

Important Note: The report does not say when Season 5 will be released. Until a date is confirmed, treat any specific premiere rumor as unverified.

Sheridan, Dillon, and Renner Behind the Series

Mayor of Kingstown was co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon. Jeremy Renner stars as Michael McLusky.

Sheridan's name tends to draw viewers on its own, and a four-season library is a handy size for a weekend binge. Anyone who wants more tough-minded crime drama afterward can read our look at how Neagley connects to Reacher.

What "Mayor" Really Means in Kingstown

The title is a bit of a fib. In Kingstown, "Mayor" does not mean an elected official. It means the head power broker and fixer for the McLusky family and its associates.

Mitchell McLusky, played by Kyle Chandler, holds that role when the show begins. Think of it as a job that involves far more phone calls than ribbon cuttings.

A Michigan Town Where Prison Is the Local Industry

The setting explains why the fixing never stops. Kingstown is a fictional Michigan town whose economy centers on incarceration. SlashFilm notes that seven correctional facilities sit within a 10-mile radius.

That backdrop gives the series its pressure. Everyone in town depends on the prisons in some way, and the McLusky family sits in the middle of it.

How a Finished Netflix Run Looks by Comparison

Netflix is no stranger to long goodbyes, and a few recent lists show how they land. TVLine's ranking of the longest-running Netflix originals covers only scripted adult programming. It says The Upshaws ended in 2026 after five seasons and 60 episodes.

TVLine also reports that The Crown ended with Season 6 and a 60th-episode finale, even though creator Peter Morgan had first planned to stop after the fifth season.

Endings can be bumpy, too. Screen Rant's sci-fi ranking includes Stranger Things, which wrapped with its fifth and final season. The writer calls seasons 2 and 4 solid and seasons 3 and 5 abysmal.

Those lists are general Netflix and sci-fi roundups, not coverage of Mayor of Kingstown. Still, they show the stakes of a final season, and Kingstown's last chapter is now only a Netflix binge away.
