Maxton Hall Season 3 Release Date Set for December 9 on Prime Video
Maxton Hall Season 3 arrives December 9, 2026 on Prime Video, plus new season release dates for The Institute, Barbershop, Baywatch and more.
The last chapter of Maxton Hall finally has a season release date. The third and final season of "Maxton Hall - The World Between Us" premieres worldwide on Prime Video on December 9, 2026, The Futon Critic reports.
The date arrived on October 5 alongside new key art for the season, and it sits near the head of a busy week of premiere announcements.
The Maxton Hall Season Release Date and What Prime Video Revealed
Mark December 9 on the calendar, roughly nine weeks after this report. Prime Video is releasing the final season worldwide on that day, so viewers in different countries should not have to wait on one another.
The report says the third season adapts Save Us, the final book in Mona Kasten's trilogy. UFA Fiction produces the series.
That is the extent of what the announcement confirms. The report mentions the key art but does not give an episode count or a cast update, so neither appears here.
Other Premiere Dates from October 2026 to Summer 2027
Maxton Hall was not the only title to get a date. On its page for the official trailer, The Futon Critic lists Season 2 of "The Institute" returning on MGM+ on November 8.
Its page for the second trailer of Netflix's "Animals" puts that title in select theaters and on Netflix on October 9. That is the nearest date of the bunch.
The same Futon Critic pages also carry several later premieres, collected here in date order:
Title | Where It Lands | Reported Date |
|---|---|---|
Animals | Select theaters and Netflix | October 9 |
The Institute (Season 2) | MGM+ | November 8 |
Maxton Hall - The World Between Us (Season 3) | Prime Video | December 9, 2026 |
Baywatch | FOX, with episodes on Hulu the next day | January |
Barbershop | Prime Video, all eight episodes at once | February 10, 2027 |
The Forsytes (Season 2) | PBS Masterpiece | 2027 |
Messi and the Giants | Disney+ and Disney Channel | Summer 2027 |
A few of these dates are looser than others. Baywatch has only a month, The Forsytes has only a year, and Messi and the Giants has only a season. Treat those as windows, not appointments.
Release Dates Still Missing from the Reporting
Some of the most searched returning series are not in the verified reporting with a date. Release dates for "Dutton Ranch" Season 2, "Marshals" Season 2, "Tracker" Season 4 and "Dexter: Resurrection" Season 2 are not stated here because the source material for this story did not include them.
Important Note: Prime Video also announced casting for "Things We Never Got Over," adapted from Lucy Score's novel, with Sean Teale as Lucian and JoBeth Williams as Liza J. The report gives no premiere date, so none is implied.
Readers tracking Dexter can read our coverage of the Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 trailer. Release-window explainers are also available for Reacher Season 5, Severance Season 3 and Neagley Season 2.
Next up is "Animals" on October 9, then The Institute on November 8, with Maxton Hall's final season following on December 9.
